Katadyn's manual watermakers are intended for both emergency use and applications where electrical power simply isn't available. No survival kit or liferaft should be without a Katadyn Survivor hand-held watermaker. Compact, lightweight, and easy to operate, these units will supply emergency drinking water to help prevent dehydration or even loss of life.

Highly efficient Katadyn PowerSurvivor 12-volt systems produce a plentiful supply of drinking water while putting the least demand on your power supplies. Each model runs independently of a generator; indeed, our units commonly run off standard marine batteries, photo-voltaic cells or wind generators.

The Freedom range of watermakers is available in 12V DC and 24V DC formats. Ideal for any yacht, no matter how small, which has engine power and an alternator. This range is suitable for smaller boats where space is limited but is equally at home in larger yachts where space is still a premium.

The Cruise range of watermakers is available in 115V/60Hz and 230V/50Hz AC formats and are ideal for any yacht that has a generator on board. This range is suitable for smaller boats where space is limited but is equally at home in larger yachts where space is still a premium.

The DUO range of watermakers are patented dual-energy desalinators, using two motors coupled to the high pressure pump without complex electromechanical clutches. Operation is simply a matter of turning the control switch one way to choose DC or the other way to choose AC.

The PRO range of watermakers is available in 115V/60Hz 230V/50Hz and 400 3 phase AC formats. These watermakers are more suitable for medium to large yachts and small commercial vessels. Using larger electrical motors running at de-rate; these robust watermakers are designed for long duty cycles.
